The Grove Pre- Internship in Partnership with Haringey Council and DFN Project SEARCHĀ
Six placements are available for this pre-internship programme, which starts on 9 September 2024.
Launching in September 2024, the pre-internship programme provides a bridge between college and the route into employment. The pre-internship pathway provides that additional time to build independence and work skills in preparation for the internship programme.Ā
A greater emphasis is on building independence, travel training, social skills and confidence so each participant is prepared for the next step towards employment and transitioning into the supported internship programme.

Programme Structure:
- Four days class-based developing work skillsĀ
- One day placementĀ
Entry Requirements / Eligibility
- 17-19 years old
- Has an Education, Health Care Plan
- Be a resident in Haringey
- Motivated to move onto the Internship programme and future paid employment
- Open to travel support or working towards independent travel
- At least Entry Level 1 in core skills, English and Maths
- Completion of a successful assessment day to determine suitability for the course
